Greenwich is the commercial hub of southern Washington County, New York. Located along the banks of the Battenkill and Hudson Rivers and with the Adirodacks and Green Mountains visible in the distance, Greenwich is rich in history and a place of scenic beauty. Susan B. Anthony grew up down the road; Chester A. Arthur attended school here; Grandma Moses and Norman Rockwell lived nearby and countless slaves traveled through Greenwich on the Underground Railroad on the way to freedom.
Greenwich is also home to a short-line rail road and has broadband access via TimeWarner and Verizon.
